HEPTABIOL

Heptabiol

GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS AND MODE OF ACTION ON THE PLANT:

Plants contain a significant amount of chlorophyll, carotenoids, flavonoids, organic acids (caffeic, chlorogenic, gallic, formic and acetic), mineral salts (iron, calcium, silica, sulphur, potassium and magnesium) as well as provitamins A and C, tannins, polyphenols, polysaccharides, saponins, glucoquinines, histamine and serotonin. All these elements are present in the aqueous extract obtained from fresh leaves and roots from plants selected by Atens, enhanced in the formulation by the presence of vitamin C.

The synergic activity of the preparation’s elements significantly improve the yield from the root system facilitating the flow of the nutrient solution through the plant. Its significant antioxidant power is able to neutralise the negative action of the oxidating free radicals produced from the various types of biotic and abiotic stress, protecting the proteins and plant lipids, and improving the photosynthetic rate of the plants treated.

The repeated application of the formulation improves the plant’s structural strength, increasing its resistance to the penetration of external parasitic agents, or stimulating vigorous development to overcome stress. No direct toxicity is produced on living organisms. The quality and concentration of the active substances may vary significantly depending on the season of collection, thus the collection period for the product’s preparation is important.
